Jamie Castellano- Gates is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in counseling diverse populations. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2010 from Nazareth and Brockport. Prior to which she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Human Development and Spanish from SUNY Oswego in 2006.
She has experiences in working with children and adolescents as she was previously a preschool teacher and 1:1 aide for a high school student with autism. These positions taught her the importance of incorporating flexibility and creativity to every session to better address oncoming barriers.
Her specialties include working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse and various addictions. Therapeutic interventions and approaches include cognitive behavioral techniques (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), therapeutic journaling, narrative therapy and trauma informed.
Presently, she supervises the outpatient addiction services and additionally provide therapy to those struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety. She has learned so much from clients to really be able to empathize with whatever struggles they are facing and how to provide unconditional support and encouragement in a non-judgmental setting. She creates foundations that are a safe and comforting environment so that together strategies can be worked on. Therefore allowing one to cope with and address the root causes of difficulties in building meaningful social connections.

Christopher Bruzee has been in the field of Psychology for sixteen years with a concentration in Licensed Mental Health Counseling for the past six years. He was awarded a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from Medaille College, and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2005, likewise from Medaille College.
He has significant experience working with those who struggle through anxiety, depression, anger management, difficulty coping, difficulty with self-esteem, men’s issues, antisocial personality, disorder, and issues related to being in the field of first responders. He offers counseling services in a welcoming, confidential, judgement free, insightful space.
Currently, Christopher oversees programs that respond to urgent mental health and substance abuse issues. Prior to this current position, He worked as part of a County Jail Forensic Team. He has a wealth of experience in the field of Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergencies, and Drug Prevention Counseling.
Christopher works with age groups eighteen and older. Services currently provided are assessments and individual therapy. His therapeutic style, is a person-centered, strength-based approach and apply integrative therapeutic strategies to best suit the unique, individual needs of each client.
Christopher readily engages with any subject matter brought up and include stories as well as humor when appropriate. He will foster the experiential, personal growth that one looks for when deciding to attend counseling.
